Seaton residents are being asked for ideas on how to use a now redundant telephone box in the town.

The traditional red telephone box at Seaton Hole is now considered redundant along with most in the country, and was transferred to the ownership of Seaton Town Council for a nominal £1 last year.

Seaton annual town meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, April 15, providing residents with the opportunity to raise local issues.

The meeting will be held via video conferencing app Zoom and details of how to take part will be available on the town council website www.seaton.gov.uk

NOTT-BOWER, Colin - Passed away very peacefully at Elmwood, Colyford, on March 10 2021, aged 92 years. Much loved husband of the late Molly.

PLOWMAN, BETTY - Died peacefully at The Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital on March 2 2021, aged 90 years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The Devon County Council elections are due to take place on Thursday, May 6 and are an important opportunity for residents to have their say about the issues that matter to them and their local communities.
