All weekend: Natural Seaton Festival

Seaton Tramway has planned a packed programme of events for all ages for the second Natural Seaton Festival, taking place from Friday, July 21 to Sunday, July 23.

The event provides an opportunity to enjoy our natural world in a festival atmosphere, with a wide variety of wildlife, conservation and community activities.

The weekend will include food stalls, musical performances, emergency rescue demonstrations, wildlife activities and much more!

Friday & Saturday: Inspiring Women Weekend

The Gateway Theatre in Seaton will be holding an Inspiring Women weekend with two special film screenings.

On Friday, July 21 the venue will screen Women Behind the Wheel at one of its popular picnic film nights. Cat and Hannah undertake a road trip across Central Asia on a mission to uncover women's stories in a region thousands of miles from their own. But along the journey, they're forced to challenge many of the assumptions they set out with.

On Saturday, July 22, The Gateway will host an exclusive, free pre-loved clothing sell before screening the documentary Fashion Reimagined. This follows fashion designer Amy Powney of cult label Mother of Pearl, who embarks on a three-year journey to create a sustainable clothing collection from field to finished garment, and transform her entire business.
