Saturday: Crime and Safety Roadshow

Come along and meet your neighbourhood policing team, local councillors, Devon County Council, East Devon District Council Environmental Health, Devon Trading Standards, Citizens Advice, Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue, Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner and Seaton Friends in the Community.

Chat to them about crime prevention advice, property security marking, scam awareness, anti-social behaviour, neighbour issues and home safety matters at this event at The Marshlands Centre, Seaton, from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, April 1.

Saturday: Film Picnic Night

The Gateway Theatre in Seaton hosts a film picnic night with a screening of Till on Saturday, April , with doors opening at 6.30pm. 

Till tells the heartbreaking true story of the historic lynching of 14 year old Emmett Till - for whistling at a white woman in Money, Mississippi in 1955 - through the eyes of his mother Mamie Till-Mobley.

Saturday: A UK choral premiere!

Axminster Choral Society will perform a St Matthew Passion by CPE Bach, in the Minster Church in Axminster on Saturday, April 1 at 7.30pm. It was written for Easter 1789 and this will be its first performance in Europe since then!

Sunday: Classic Tractor Ploughing

Come and see the farming community raise funds for local charity Hospiscare with classic tractor ploughing at Three Horsehoes Farm, near Seaton (EX12 3BR).

Open from 10am to 4pm, all welcome including well behaved dogs on leads, refreshments available with burger van on site. Entry by donation.
