Seaton Sew 'n' Sews host Christmas shindig

Local sewing group the Seton Sew 'n' Sews met for their end of year Christmas party last week.

The event was held at The Old Picture House in Seaton and saw members come together for a a traditional Christmas lunch.

The Seaton Sew 'n' Sews meet every Thursday at The Marshlands off Harbour Road. There are currently 26 members of all ages – aol women although men would be welcome.

Led by experienced seamstresses Bren Murr and Laila Wesenlund, the group hosts workshops where they teach and we share their skills, including dress making, bag making, soft furnishings, alterations – in fact anything sewing related!

Sewing machines, overlockers, fabrics and haberdashery are provided.
