The Seaton, Beer & District branch of the RNLI will be holding its annual autumn sponsored walk this month and is inviting all to join in.

This year's walk will follow a 10k route from Woodhouse Lane in Uplyme to The Malthouse in Seaton, passing through Musbury, Colyton and Colyford. This route was also used in 1994, 2004 and 2010.

Everyone, including families, accompanied children and dogs on leads, are welcome to take part in this 43rd annual sponsored walk. Good footwear is required as it may be muddy and uneven underfoot.

The event will be held on Sunday, October 23, with registration from 9.45am and starting at 10am from the Hartgrove Farm junction on Woodhouse Lane, Uplyme, at the East Devon Way bridleway next to the house 'Woodhay' (DT7 3SX).

Those taking part are asked to either make a donation to the RNLI or to seek sponsorship, with sponsorship forms available by contacting Wendy Cummins on 01297 23040, 07790 861 531 or email [email protected]
