Seaton Cricket Club's 1st X1 captain Ben Morgan has written himself into cricketing history.

In a match last Saturday away to Tavistock, Morgan took eight wickets conceding just ten runs to win a place in the Play-Cricket National Bowling Honours Board for the period July 29 to August 4.

His remarkable bowling performance enabled his side to dismiss Tavistock for 85 as they were chasing Seaton's score of 185 all out.

The victory earned them 18 points, helping them in their fight to avoid relegation from the Devon Cricket League A Division, the second highest division in the county.

Last season Morgan won the Nub News top ten bowling award for taking the most wickets during the season.
