As we look towards the Christmas holidays Re:store Axe Valley CIC is working with individuals in the community, SAVE Food Hub and local businesses such as Pebbles Café, Squirrel, Natural Worx and Owl & Pyramid to bring some Christmas cheer to those families in the local community who may be in need of support in these difficult and challenging times.

A crowdfunding campaign has been set up to help those in need, and with the generous support of the community and Devon County Council £1,930 of the £2,000 target has been reached to date.

You can still donate by clicking here and contribute until December 5.

With the funds raised via the crowdfunding campaign, combined with the financial support of East Devon County Council, Cllr Martin Shaw, Cllr Ian Hall, Seaton Town Council and Seaton & District Lions, the scheme is putting together a food hamper for each family along with a book (applicable to the child's age) and vouchers to spend at local participating shops.

Plans are well under way and with the support of the local schools the initiative has managed to reach out to and include families and children in the following areas: Beer, Colyford, Colyton, Farway, Musbury, Seaton, Uplyme.

Re:store Axe Valley CIC would like to thank everyone for their support and help in restoring some Christmas cheer to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
