More than 110 families and 200 children from Seaton and the surrounding areas will be treated this Christmas thanks to a successful fundraising campaign run by community interest company Re:store Axe Valley.

The organisation has reached its stretched target of raising more than £3,000 via crowdfunding for its 2022 Christmas Cheer campaign.

All the contributions will be a massive help in providing more than 200 children with Christmas gifts and vouchers, and more than 110 local families with food hampers and blankets in the Axe Valley area this Christmas.

A spokesperson said: "Thank you to everyone who has supported via donations as well as all those individuals and businesses in the community who have contributed and supported in other ways."
