Popular Beer restaurant looking for new owners

New owners are being sought for the popular Steamers Restaurant in Beer.

Named after its former use as the Steam Bakery, the restaurant has been a success since opening in 2003 achieving outstanding TripAdvisor ratings for its fine dining and ambience.

The restaurant is located at the centre of the idyllic seaside village Beer and occupies a charming old stone building which was creatively remodelled by a leading architect to maximise light and space.

It has 60 covers, a bar, fully equipped kitchen and a two-bedroom flat above.

The business was managed by the freeholders for four years and was then taken over by the chef who left for personal reasons this year.

The complete premises, including fixtures and fittings, can be acquired freehold subject to negotiation or leased from the freeholders for an initial lease premium of £39,000 and a 10 year lease of £24,000 per annum inflation linked which includes the flat, which on its own would command an annual rental of around £8,000.
