Police are investigating the theft of more than £100 worth of fuel from Tower Services in Seaton on Tuesday, August 11.

A man entered the station around 3.35pm and filled up a white Ford Fiesta plus petrol containers from the boot with a total of £109 in fuel. He then left without paying.

Police are investigating and seeking a suspect who is described as 6ft tall. He was wearing a dark coloured T-shirt, shorts and Nike trainers.

Officers are linking the theft to a similar offence at Oaklands Garage in Aylesbeare, near Exeter, at about 4.15pm on July 22 where £88 worth of fuel was stolen.

A man in a white Ford Fiesta filled up the car and several jerry cans before making off without paying.

Garage owners are advised to be on their guard for the suspect vehicle and the method of the offence, and to report any sightings to police.

Anyone who has any information about the thefts is asked to contact police via [email protected] or by telephone on 101, quoting crime reference CR/066476/20.
