Packed programme revealed for Natural Seaton Festival

Seaton Tramway unveiled its programme for the second Natural Seaton Festival, which will be taking place next week.

A packed programme of events for all ages will take place from Friday, July 21 to Sunday, July 23.

The event provides an opportunity to enjoy our natural world in a festival atmosphere, with a wide variety of wildlife, conservation and community activities.

The weekend will kick off with an evening of of stalls from local food vendors and live music from The Seatrees at the tramway's Seaton station from 6pm.

On Saturday, July 22 events will include music from the Lyme Luggers ukulele group, entertainment by Seaton Majorettes and puppeteer Garry Bennett and plenty of activities to join in with, including circus skills, dancercise, axe throwing and pond-dipping and mini beast hunting at Seaton Wetlands.

There will also be marine life and coastguard rescue demonstrations, and the day will end with an Abba tribute act at The Gateway Theatre.

The fun will continue on Sunday with Tano Taiko drumming, Lazy River Swing, a dog show and a chance to get up close with some exotic animals.
