Outdoor fun on offer at Seaton Wetlands holiday club

Children are being offered an outdoor experience to remember as East Devon District Council's popular holiday club returns to Seaton.

Taking place at Seaton Wetlands, the club will be for 7-11 year olds and will run Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm daily on the weeks commencing August 1 and August 15. Parents can book places for the whole week or individual days.

Led by experienced education ranger Penny, children taking part will explore the wetlands and learn about its wildlife, make crafts using small tools and natural materials, cook over the campfire and play.

Cllr Geoff Jung, East Devon District Council's portfolio holder for Coast, Country and Environment, said: "The summer holiday club offers busy parents an affordable, enjoyable and educational week of activities for their 7 to 11 year olds.

"Whether your child enjoys natural craft, learning about wildlife or outdoor games, there's something for everyone and each day will be different. Children will be explore the outstanding East Devon countryside we live in and enjoy a week of nature-inspired activities."

The holiday club costs £35 per child per day, with a 15% discount if you book on for all five days of one week. To book a place call 01395 517557.
