Seaton Town Council has launched a new website containing more comprehensive information about the town with a design which allows easy access to all matters Seaton.

The website contains information on all the local councils - Seaton, East Devon District and Devon County - and details of MP Neil Parish and all town councillors.

Under the heading of 'Your Community' there are details of community groups and a What's On In Seaton section.

Under 'Your Visit' there is a 'Welcome to Seaton' page and details of all the local attractions, including the Jurassic Coast, parks and green spaces, walking and cycling routes, shopping and artisan markets.

A section entitled 'Your Business' gives local traders and businesses the opportunity to list their services by sending an email to [email protected].

Items on council news are also prominent displayed on the home page and there is also an extensive holiday accommodation section for the whole area.

The new website has been constructed by Blaze Concepts under the guidance of town clerk Julia Mutlow.

The council also employs two administrative and community events officers, Stephanie Hidson-Jones and Hester Johnson, and a town maintenance operative Phil Tuckley.

The council, which has three vacancies for councillors, is based in offices at the Marshlands Centre in Harbour Road (telephone 01297 21388).
