The latest crime figures released by police show there were 49 crimes in the wider Seaton area during July 2021. 

These figures are a decrease from 56 crimes reported the previous month, and 54 in the same month the previous year.

From the 49 recorded incidents in July 2021, 28 took place in Seaton Town and 21 in Seaton Rural, which also covers Beer, Branscombe, Colyton, Colyford, Axmouth, Rousdon and surrounding areas.

In Seaton Town, crimes included 13 incidents of violence and sexual offences, five of anti-social behaviour, two of criminal damage and arson, and eight listed as 'other crimes'.

In Seaton Rural, crimes included nine of violence and sexual offences, four of anti-social behaviour, three thefts, and five listed as 'other crimes'.

Crime figures for August 2021 have not yet been released.
