ARE these the best Christmas decorations in East Devon?

Residents of Park Road in the village of Beer have gone all out, with almost every house decked to the nines in the run-up to Christmas.

You can't help but get in the festive spirit when you take a stroll up or down Park Road, with even cars and boats dressed in twinkling lights.

We think this could be the most decorated street in the whole of East Devon, but if you know somewhere to rival it, please get in touch!

Park Road is perfect if you're looking for somewhere to take the kids to see the lights this Christmas, with the village's Central Car Park just at the bottom of the road.

In fact, the whole of Beer has made an exceptional effort to look extra festive this year.

The village hosted a Festive Fun Weekend last week, starting with late-night shopping and a Christmas fair in the church, with many businesses make a special effort to decorate their windows.

Father Christmas met children in his grotto and took a short break to switch on the lights outside the Mariners Hall, followed by carol singing led by Gayle Chapple.

Visit the Seaton Nub News Facebook page for a video tour of Park Road in Beer to see all the lights.
