Have your say on East Devon's cultural scene for next decade and beyond

Share your views on East Devon's cultural scene – including everything from museums and galleries to theatres and live music.

You can help shape the district's creative arts for the next decade by taking part in East Devon District Council's (EDCC) new culture survey before the deadline at midnight on Sunday, March 27.

EDDC wants to know what you enjoy about East Devon's cultural offerings, what you would like to see more of, and how the council can help you and your family to get creative.

It all comes as part of a new cultural strategy EDDC is developing which looks to set out an ambitious, ten-year vision and plan of action for how the council can develop and deliver creative activities across East Devon.

The strategy is being made with the help of consultants Festivals and Events International (FEI).

Councillor Nick Hookway, East Devon District Council portfolio holder for Tourism, Leisure, Sport and Culture, commented: "Whatever your interest in culture is, be it music, the performing arts, sculpture, painting, local crafts, architecture or festivals now is the time to have your say.

"The Cultural Strategy will reflect the views and interests of residents and help shape the cultural activities that we will enjoy across East Devon in the future.

"I would, therefore, like to encourage every resident to take a few moments to complete this survey.
