A Promote Seaton meeting held yesterday via video conferencing app Zoom was well supported.

Seaton Town Council reported on Facebook today that "it was pleasing to see so many ideas coming forward" as the partnership was relaunched following the coronavirus lockdown.

The chairman, Cllr Del Haggerty, will look at all the projects suggested and put forward a proposal to the group to decide which can be taken forward in the short and longer term and seek volunteers as to who will take responsibility for each agreed project.

All other suggestions will be retained to be worked on in the future or amalgamated to improve other events.

Where Seaton Town Council involvement may assist, and it is within the council's legal powers, requests will be put to members for consideration.

Full minutes on the meeting will be distributed later.
