Final countdown to Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Seaton

There's just a week to go until celebrations get underway for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

A full programme of events has been planned in Seaton, with local organisations hosting celebrations across the extended four-day Bank Holiday weekend.

The highlight of the weekend will be the Seaton Summer Celebration in Cliff Field Gardens, from 4pm to 10pm on Thursday, June 2, featuring live music, laser clay pigeon shooting, circus skills workshop, stalls, games and lots more, including a beacon lighting at 9.45pm.

Other events in Seaton will be as follows:

Thursday, June 2

Free live streaming of Trouping of the Colour at The Gateway Theatre, 10am

Street food and live music at Ragini in Harbour Road, from 11am to 3pm

Jubilee cream tea and raffle at The Hub, Marine Place from 10am to 4pm

Axe Yacht Club beacon lighting on the beach at 9.45pm

Friday, June 3

Coronation tea at St Gregory's Church Hall from 3pm to 5pm

Seaton Eats Boutique at Jubilee Gardens from 4pm to 9pm

Film Picnic Night: 'Fantastic Beasts - The Secrets of Dumbledore' at The Gateway Theatre, doors opening 6.30pm for 7.30pm start

Saturday, June 4

Jubilee theme table-top sale on Tesco supermarket plaza, all day from 8am

Axe Yacht Club AOD Fleet Review on the River Axe from 11am

Music concert by St David's Singers of Exeter at St Gregory's Church, 7pm

Live streaming of 'Platinum Party in the Palace' at The Gateway Theatre - time to be confirmed

Sunday, June 5

Carnival street fair on The Esplanade from 9am to 6pm

Axe Valley Pedlars themed bike ride in period costume to Colyton followed by party on the beach for club members

Axe Yacht Club parade of boats on the sea from Seaton Hole to Axmouth Harbour - contact yacht club for timings

Jurassic Area Wild Swimmers host a celebration jubilee themed swim and picnic on the beach at Fisherman's Gap at 3pm

All weekend

Cruiser and dinghy racing, canoeing and kayaking at Axe Yacht Club

A visual display of significant events during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II at The Axe Valley Heritage Centre (Seaton Museum) from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5pm every day

Flower festival at St Gregory's Church, open 10am to 5pm Friday to Sunday
