Colyton's annual Christmas Fayre was cancelled this year due to COVID-19, but Kate Clode and her team at Colyton Caterpillars Pre-School still wanted the children to experience the some Christmas magic.

Although things are a little different this year, Father Christmas still paid a visit to Colyton to see all the children, but from a distance.

Santa and his elves then had a tractor sleigh ride into the town where he turned on the Christmas lights for Colyton town.

A spokesperson for Colyton Caterpillars said: "We would like to say a huge thank you to Colyton Christmas Lights Committe for arranging all the lights around the town, they look fantastic.

"We would also like to thank Pauls Bakery for donating lots of mince pies, Christmas cookies and gingerbread men."
