Coastguards were called on Saturday evening to assist a man who had fallen from a rope swing at the top of Jubilee Gardens in Beer.

The coastguard team were called at 7.49pm to help paramedics and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).

The man had suffered possible neck injuries and a right ankle injury.

Once the HART team had given pain killers he was placed on a stretcher and coastguards helped them carry him back to the ambulance.
