Children from Colyton Caterpillars pre-school have enjoyed a week of special activities based around the popular book 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen.

The youngster made their own binocular and enjoyed exploring to see if they could find a bear.

They also took part in Forest School activities during the week, looking at and feeling all the different textures in the sensory trays.

They finished the week by completing paintings based on the pictures from the popular children's book.

The Caterpillars also recently paid a visit to Millers Farm Shop in Kilmington.

They enjoyed having a drink and some toast in the café, looking around the shop, picking out a pumpkin each, walking around the sunflower field and picking a sunflower to bring home.
