A coffee morning organised by the Friends of St Michaels Chapel of Ease in Colyford raised £1,500 to support Ukrainian refugees.

The event was held at Colyford Memorial Hall on Saturday, March 26, supported by the St Michael's Committee and other village organisations.

Cheques for the total raised have been sent to the Disasters Emergency Committee.

Donations of dried foods, toiletries, etc. were also gratefully received on the day by Katherine Sharp, who will ferry them to Exmouth for dispatch to Moldova for distribution to Ukrainians fleeing the war zone.
