'Beat the Heat' as temperatures soar in Seaton

Heatwave temperatures continue to climb in Seaton, with the South West now at a Level 3 heat health alert.
Most of us can enjoy the hot weather when it arrives, but it is important to keep yourself hydrated and to find shade where possible when UV rays are strongest, between 11am and 3pm.
UK Health Security Agency's Beat the Heat checklist identifies suitable actions people can take to protect themselves during periods of hot weather.
Dog owners have also been advised not to leave their pets in cars during the hot weather, and to be mindful of the hot temperatures of pavement when walking their dogs.
