Appeal for families to host German students

Seaton Summer School will be hosting 43 students from Germany this summer and an appeal has gone out for local families to provide them with accommodation.

The students, aged. between 15 and 17, are from Weil Der Stadt and will be staying in Seaton. for a week from July 16th.

For those interest in hosting a student a meeting has been called for Saturday, February 25th, between 10am and 12pm at the Seaton Waffle Cafe, located in the hospital.

The party will be staying in Seaton as part of improving their English education and strengthening the links between the two towns.

The students will attend classes and go on arranged trips. The host families have to. provide breakfast, lunch and dinner and will receive a payment of £200 per student.

The host families will be expected to chat to the students to help their understanding of English and no German is required.
