Local fire crews rescued a woman from a stream in Axmouth yesterday (Wednesday).

Fire engines from Seaton and Colyton attended the incident, which involved one woman stuck in a brook near the Ship Inn in Axmouth.

Crews administered first aid and oxygen therapy, assisted the patient to safety and handed over to ambulance service.
