Seaton Carnival Committee has teamed up with Seaton Town Council to stage the biggest ever Christmas lights switch-on event for the community.

Events will get underway at 4pm on Saturday, November 27th with music in Fore Street square around the Christmas tree.

Seaton Majorettes will perform at 5.20pm and the lights will then be switched on by the Mayor of Seaton, Cllr Dan Ledger, at 5.45pm.

Seaton Samba Band will entertain the crowds from 6pm, when at the same time a Christmas parade will get underway from the coach park on The Underfleet, heading down Fore Street and back down to Harbour Road.

All are welcome to join the parade in festive fancy dress.

Those attending are asked to bring their loose change and fill the collecting buckets for carnival charities.

Father Christmas will follow the parade and stop in the square and many of the shops will stay open for the evening.
