Seaton Carnival procession will not go ahead this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but other events will still be held at the end of summer.

COVID-19 restrictions has meant that carnival clubs have not been able to get together to build their floats, so the grand procession – the highlight of every carnival week – will not be held for the second year running.

However, Seaton Carnival Committee is still planning to go ahead with a classic car show and street fair.

The car show will be held on the Esplanade on Sunday, August 29 from 10am to 5pm and the street fair will also be held on the seafront, from 10am to 5pm on Monday, August 30.

For an entry form for either of these events, email [email protected].

You can follow Seaton Carnival on Facebook for update on further events.
