Rapid testing for COVID-19 is now available in Seaton.

The mobile community lateral flow testing bus will be at the Seaton Tesco car park on Wednesdays from 3.30pm to 7pm and on Sundays from 9am to 12.30pm.

No appointments are necessary for testing and lateral flow tests are also available to collect to be carried out at home. The tests can give you a result in 30 minutes.

These tests are for people who are not showing symptoms of COVID-19 to ensure they are not an asymptomatic carrier of the virus, with all adults now encouraged to get tested twice a week to stop the spread of coronavirus.

People with these symptoms – the new and continuous cough, high temperature, or change to their usual sense of taste or smell – should immediately self-isolate and arrange a PCR test via the NHS.
