Colyford was decorated with dozens of medieval scarecrows over the weekend.

The scarecrow trail was held in place of the traditional Goose Fayre, which could not take place this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Residents, businesses and local organisations threw themselves behind the event with scarecrows popping up on every street corner.

Alongside the trail, a 'Welcome Event' was held in Colyford Memorial Hall where local organisations were able to set up stalls.

The idea of the event was to new residents to the village and to get together with old friends following lockdown.
