Pubs in the Seaton area are gearing up to welcome customers for the first time in three months tomorrow (Saturday).

Pubs across Seaton, Beer, Colyton and Axmouth have been busy ensuring safety measures will be met when they reopen doors tomorrow in line with the government's easing of lockdown restrictions.

In Seaton, The King's Arms in Fore Street will open at 4pm tomorrow afternoon for drinks only as the kitchen will remain closed for the time being.

In Harbour Road, the Old Picture House will be serving a stripped back menu from 12noon to 2.30pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

The Dolphin Hotel in Beer will be operating on a booking-only basis for the opening weekend, with tables available by calling 01297 20068. A new, simplified menu will be available from 12noon to 9pm.

A statement on social media from The Dolphin said: "Things will look a little different at The Dolphin, and we would just like to remind you that all the safety measures in place are in line with government guidelines, for the safety of our customers and staff.

"We are doing our best to ensure that you enjoy the same great standard of food, drinks and service you would expect here at The Dolphin, whilst making your visit is as safe as possible and operating within the guidelines, and we look forward to welcoming you back!"

The Anchor Inn in Beer is expected to open on Monday, July 6th.

In Colyton, the Gerrard Arms will be opening doors from 12noon on Saturday and Sunday for drinks only, with food service resuming next weekend.

The Kingfisher will be making the most of the weekend, staying open until 1am on Saturday night and 11pm on Sunday with food available from 12noon to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm.

In Axmouth, both the Harbour Inn and Ship Inn will be reopening on Saturday. The Harbour has teamed up with Barrel & Stone to offer a special pizza menu available to eat in or takeaway, and the Ship will be offering a lunch and dinner menu also to eat in or takeaway.

The Hind in Musbury is opening for drinks only this weekend, 4pm til close on Saturday and 12noon to 3pm Sunday. Food service will resume from Friday, July 10.
